Why it matters

Why this hand matters

Problems like online fraud, harassment, dowry and child marriage thrive where people do not know their rights or where to turn.

A single good conversation in a classroom or a para meeting can protect someone for life.

Please note: If you or someone you know is in danger, call 112.

Our aims

What we want to do

  • Awareness programmes in schools and colleges, with their permission
  • Talks on personal safety, online safety and cyber fraud
  • Saying no to drugs, handling stress, and healthy screen and social-media habits
  • Campaigns against dowry, child marriage and domestic violence, using official information and helplines
  • Road safety, cleanliness and civic-sense drives
  • Street plays, posters and open discussions in neighbourhoods

These are our aims. As each one happens, we will share it here with real photos.

In colleges: discussions and campaigns, run together with NSS units and student clubs.

  3. 3

In neighbourhoods: street plays, posters and open discussions.
